Where to begin... the start!

Hi all,

My first post! Well to set the scene, I began running "properly" in January 2013 and decided in April that my aim for this year in the Dublin Series half marathon and the Dublin full marathon next year.

I've completed a few 5k and 10k road races so far this year. I'm not attempting any world records, just to get around in one piece!

I've just completed the Fingal 10k Sunday just gone and decided that I would record my experiences from here on for prosterity! My next challenge is the Frank Duffy 10mile race in 4 weeks. That is one I am getting mighty nervous about.

I plan to train 4/5 times a week, road running and do strength and resistence training 3/4 times a week.

Well that's a bit of background to why I'm doing this.
